Everybody is criticizing Pranit More and Himanshu Jangra for jokes about women that many people found offensive, and they deserve to be held accountable for their remarks. However, hardly anyone seems to be calling out Sejal Pawar, a medical student and future doctor, who made a joke on the same show about a male dead body’s private parts. If a similar joke had been made about a female dead body’s private parts, there would likely have been massive outrage. But when it comes to jokes targeting men, very few people seem to raise their voices. Instead, Sejal Pawar received a lot of attention and was even invited to podcasts. This raises questions about whether society applies the same standards consistently.
