Samay Raina has dropped the first episode of India’s Got Latent Season 2, but it felt more like a promotional video than an actual Latent episode. Alia Bhatt seemed quite nervous throughout, almost as if she wasn’t completely comfortable being there. Sharvari tried to contribute with jokes, but most of them didn’t really land. Ashish Solanki was one of the few people who managed to keep the episode entertaining with his humor; otherwise, the overall atmosphere felt unusually tense. Another issue was the sheer amount of brand promotions. At times, it felt like there were more advertisements than jokes, which took away from the show’s original charm. Personally, I found this episode disappointing. Even some of the weaker episodes from Season 1 felt more entertaining than this one. In my opinion, Samay Raina should release an uncut version on Netflix while keeping a family-friendly and brand-safe version on YouTube for the wider audience. This is just my personal opinion.
