Honestly, Orry made more sense in his podcast with KK Create than a lot of self-proclaimed woke feminists. During the podcast, KK Create said she supports gender-neutral washrooms. Orry then asked a simple question: if your daughter goes into a washroom and sees an adult man using the same space, would you be comfortable with that? At first, KK Create didn’t directly answer, but later admitted that she personally wouldn’t be comfortable with that situation. And let’s be honest, many parents would probably have similar concerns. What surprised me is that KK Create usually comes across as very mature and thoughtful in her videos, yet on this topic it felt like some practical concerns weren’t fully addressed. Male and female washrooms were originally separated for privacy, comfort, and safety. Both men and women generally feel more comfortable having their own spaces. Nowadays, discussions about gender-neutral washrooms have become more common. In my opinion, gender identity and sexuality are often mixed together in these debates even though they’re different topics. A gay man is still a man and a lesbian woman is still a woman. Being attracted to a certain gender doesn’t automatically change which facilities someone uses. Discussions around transgender individuals are more complex and involve different viewpoints. My concern is that if all washrooms become gender-neutral, privacy and comfort for many people could be affected. That’s my opinion. What do you think about the discussion between Orry and KK Create?
