
Winter Comfort Food Series Episode 1 - Gajar Halwa Pressure Cooker Gajar Halwa in just 15 minutes 🥕🔥 Ingredients: 4 cups grated red carrots 1 cup full-fat milk 3 tbsp ghee ½ cup sugar ½ tsp cardamom powder 2 tbsp dry fruit - cashews, almonds, pistachios Instructions: In some ghee, roast the dry fruit and keep aside. Add some more ghee and grated carrots. Cook for 2-3 min. Add milk and close the lid of the cooker and cook for 1 whistle on high flame. Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally. Open the lid and cook on low-medium flame until the milk reduces completely and the carrots are soft and glossy. Stir occasionally. Mix in sugar and cardamom powder. Cook for 2–3 more minutes until sugar dissolves fully and the halwa thickens. Add the roasted nuts.
