
What’s In my Tiffin Episode 3 - Masala Fried Rice Today’s tiffin is pure flavour, masala fried rice tossed with my hand-crushed garlic chutney and a side of kala chana for protein. Ingredients: 1 cup kala chana (boiled) 1 tbsp ghee 6-8 garlic cloves ½ tsp cumin seeds ½ tsp turmeric 1 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp garam masala Salt -Method Hand crush garlic cloves, turmeric, chilli, coriander powder, salt and garam masala to make the garlic chutney. Heat ghee and add cumin and garlic chutney. Add boiled kala chana and mix well. Splash a little water and cook 5 mins so it absorbs flavour.
