I was the biggest reason I was stuck in 2025. So I made a list of everything I’m done tolerating in 2026. Not a goals list. Not a vision board. An unsubscribe list. I’m unsubscribing from saying yes when my body is screaming no. From agreeing to things just to keep the peace while silently breaking my own commitments. That version of “nice” cost me an entire year. I’m unsubscribing from being so careful with money that I start neglecting myself. There’s a difference between being smart with your finances and convincing yourself you don’t deserve better. I crossed that line too many times. I’m unsubscribing from making myself smaller to fit into rooms that stopped fitting me a long time ago. If I have to dim my ambition to make others comfortable, that’s not my room anymore. I’m unsubscribing from apologizing every time I want more. More money. More clarity. More opportunities. Wanting more isn’t greedy. It’s called growth. And I’m done explaining that. I’m unsubscribing from doing everything the hard way because I confused struggle with effort. If a system can do it, I’m letting the system do it. I’m unsubscribing from watching other people’s timelines and feeling behind. Their chapter three is not my chapter three. We’re not even reading the same book. I’m unsubscribing from giving my best to people who only notice me when I overdeliver. Respect shouldn’t be something I earn by burning out. And I’m unsubscribing from rushing past my own wins. I achieved a lot last year and barely stopped to feel any of it. This year, I’m celebrating before I move on. That’s my unsubscribe list for 2026. What’s on yours? Drop it in the comments. . . . {things to stop doing in 2026, new year goals 2026, personal growth tips, self improvement habits, setting boundaries at work, stop people pleasing, career growth mindset, how to stop comparing yourself, celebrate your wins, work life balance tips, saying no at work, professional boundaries, mindset shift for success, stop overworking, personal development for professionals}
