
🌿 Methi ki Mathri (Crispy Evening Tea Snack) with दादी 👵🏻 Ingredients: • Maida (all-purpose flour) – 200 g • Sooji (semolina) – 2 tbsp • Kasoori methi – 2 tbsp • Salt – 1 tsp • Ajwain (carom seeds) – 1 tsp • Oil – 3 tbsp (for the dough) • Water – as needed • Oil – for frying ⸻ Method: 1. In a bowl, mix together maida, sooji, kasoori methi, salt, and ajwain. 2. Heat 3 tbsp oil on medium flame and add it to the flour mix. Rub it well with your fingers until crumbly. 3. Gradually add water and knead a firm, smooth dough. 4. Cover and let it rest for 15–20 minutes. 5. Roll out small discs (not too thin). 6. Prick holes with a fork or knife so they don’t puff up. 7. Heat oil on medium flame and fry the mathris till golden brown and crisp. 8. Remove on a paper towel. ⸻ ☕ Serve your crispy Methi ki Mathri with hot chai for the perfect evening snack!
