WHY does March feel like it has 87 days? This is something I notice every year—March feels long because the system is adjusting to so many different things all together This is a seasonal shift month. The body is moving from one rhythm to another—sleep cycles change, digestion changes, energy dips and spikes in weird ways. Even the nervous system is trying to recalibrate. At the same time, our routines are being tested. What we started in January either starts aligning with us… or starts feeling forced. And when something is misaligned, it feels heavier to carry. So it’s not really about the number of days. It’s that we're in a transition phase—physically and mentally. And transitions always feel slower because the body hasn’t caught up yet. If this month felt off, low, or just stretched… it usually means something in your routine, pace, or expectations needs a reset. Not a full overhaul. Just small adjustments. A different sleep time. Lighter meals. Slower mornings. Less pressure to “keep up.” March doesn’t drag for no reason. It’s usually showing you where you need to shift before you move forward.
