Durga Puja is approaching leading to super excitement among Bengalis in Hyderabad. To add to the pre-puja buzz Fairfield by Marriott Hyderabad Gachibowli is organising "Bengal On a Plate" a festival showcasing Bengali cuisine. Chef Avijit Jana is here from The Westin Kolkata to oversee the festival. Though there are many Bengali food festivals in the city, many fall flat in presenting traditional food. That is not the case in this festival, and the chef is very experienced in Bengali cuisine.
