Today, at the 33rd Edition of the Indian Education Summit, I was humbled to be recognized with the Outstanding Mentor of the Year Award, selected by an independent jury. What makes this recognition especially meaningful is the company it was received in — among educators, school leaders, academic innovators, and changemakers from diverse fields of education who have dedicated themselves to shaping young minds. Over the years, my journey has rarely fit into conventional boxes. It has been about helping children think deeply, write fearlessly, create meaningfully, and discover their own voices. Whether through creative writing, parenting initiatives, teacher development, teen leadership, or holistic child development, the goal has always remained the same: to nurture not just achievers, but thoughtful human beings. My gratitude to the jury, the organizers of the Indian Education Summit — one of India's largest platforms bringing together educators, institutions, and education leaders — and to every child, parent, teacher, school, and community that has trusted me with a small part of their journey. While awards are moments of recognition, the real reward for me remains the same as it always has been: seeing a child find confidence, a parent find hope, a teacher find purpose, or a young writer discover that their voice matters. #unboxingthejoyofwriting
