A few days back, I had the pleasure of being invited as the Guest of Honour for the Annual Day of ExtraMile Preschool and Daycare. The theme for the event was “Around the World”, and it was heartwarming to see the little ones perform with so much enthusiasm, innocence and confidence. While addressing the parents and children, I spoke about the importance of travel and exposure beyond textbooks in a child’s development. The more children experience the world, the more they realise how much there is still to learn, and that awareness is perhaps the most beautiful grounding force. It nurtures curiosity, humility and openness, qualities that shape not just good learners, but thoughtful human beings and inspiring leaders. It was also a joy to felicitate the little stars whose infectious excitement and pride were a reminder that childhood thrives when learning is joyful, expressive and experiential. Grateful for the warm welcome by the school. Thank you @manjularani for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful celebration.
