Another cohort wrapped up with a fantastic bunch of 14 kids. And this one stayed with me in a way that I will always remember. We concluded the 3rd edition of my Mystery & Detective Fiction cohort last Sunday at Appuworld Library and what a journey it has been! We had an absolute blast celebrating a genre we all LOVE. Over these sessions, I didn’t just see children write stories. I saw them think deeper, question better and build logic with imagination. From scattered ideas to structured plots… From obvious endings to layered, satisfying reveals… From “who did it?” to “why it makes sense”... The kids truly evolved as young storytellers. And the best part? Each child now walks away with a story that is completely their own, shaped with intent, detail, and thought. These stories will soon come together as part of BTB Quests – Volume 3 (coming soon! ) Grateful to @appuworldlibrary for the space, the energy, and the young minds that made this cohort so special.
