This afternoon, we paused. Reflected. Created. 💛 What started as a simple journaling workshop at @life_at_ikigai turned into a beautiful space of memories, feelings, colours, and discoveries. We began with our Corners of the Year game where 2025 came alive through happy, surprising, challenging and tender moments, each child choosing where their memories belonged. We spoke about what journaling really is (and what it isn’t), how it helps us listen to ourselves, and how there’s no one right way to journal. The kids explored handcrafted and market-bought journals, touched them, flipped through them, compared styles, and realised that a journal can be messy, colourful, neat, doodled, written… or all of it together. And then it was time for some deep thinking. Each child worked on a couple of pages of their own journal, reflecting back on 2025 and gently setting intentions, wishes, goals (and creative ideas) for 2026. We ended with fun memories and cute bookmark giveaways as little reminders that their stories matter.
