Back to #2016 when I travelled across seven skies to restart my life at a place that I call my second home today, Dehradun! Away from the judgmental society, God built me a home that I can truly cherish for the rest of my life. The 2016 core memories that'll remain with me: 1. Being handpicked by @eats.a.lott aka @aradhyakumar to experience and journal the First Ever Food Bloggers' Meet in Dehradun 2016 when no "Hello guys..." influencer would do rounds! The menus we sampled EVERYWHERE were authentic and unique in their own way. Big time missing! What a historical start. 2. @ashmita_khanal and @_meherriya our first lab visit- being the best BFFs for all good reasons- pork, skipping exams, walks and gossip! The trio that @bfitdehradun will cherish for life! Such simple days, felt like free cows grazing on the field. 3. Mumma and dadda surprised me on my 18th birthday shattering the campus gates lol haha. Can still remember the chocolate cake from Kanwali road bakery in Dehradun. Fond memories! 4. @paradoxpatra , @sanjukta_srkr and @iamsuvampatra being the first Bengali friends group- a literal home away from home feeling. Can't even explain how madly badly I loved blabbering shiz with you all. Major missing! 5. @miss.gini , @sritama_143 God has given us the blessing of the longest term friendship- call it distance or destiny but we are bound for life- the only two school friends who stayed and never turned back. Love and hugs! 6. @shadhasan2661 you and your friends gang! Unforgettable fun at parties, core memories, probably our friendship's beginning it was! @creators what a fun moment! Happy tears all over. 2016 was in one word "Unadulterated fun".
