Revisiting Badrinath after 14 long years and the feeling is still the same! Old terrains, Garhwal Himalayas of Himachal range in its full glory, rustic smell of the air, chanting hymns of Badri Vishal and the Brahma Kapal. Adi Shankaracharya re-established Badrinath temple to revive Hinduism during a time when Buddhism was gaining popularity, glorifying the ethical principles of hindu cultural heritage. Mom and I had a huge brawl but in these pictures, it's just vanished lol. Haha. But it's fun. When you are raw, expressive and fun, it just doubles up the emotions hitting the right chords. We'd argue over food, visiting every important places, within the queue but definitely protect each other betting our life while braving the humongous queue to take a glimpse of Badri Vishal. Legend says that Lord Vishnu once sat here in deep meditation, while Goddess Lakshmi became the veil of warmth and protection, guarding him from the harsh mountain chill. That very grace gave this shrine its name. More than just a stone and scriptures Badrinath is one of the 108 sacred Divya Desams and one of the char dhams. They say a journey here doesn’t just wash away sins. We shopped, had a sumptuous meal consisting of mix veg, shahi paneer, rice, roti, dal, achaar- making our tiring day full of love. Of course, food makes Foodicted Fellow happy! #FoodictedTravels #BadrinathTemple #CharDhamYatra #Himalayan #SpiritualIndia #IncredibleIndia #VishnuBhakti #DivyaDesam #SummerHolidays #UttarakhandDiaries #TemplesOfIndia #Divine #HinduMythology #HolyYatra #Pilgrimage #Devotion #SacredVibes #AncientTemples #HinduPilgrimage #ExploreHimalayas #IndiaTraveller #Spirituality #TravelBlogger [Badrinath Temple history, Char Dham pilgrimage route, Vishnu temples in India, 108 Divya Desams, spiritual places in Uttarakhand, pilgrimage to Badrinath, best time to visit Badrinath, significance of Badrinath, sacred temples of India, Himalayan temple tour, religious tourism in India]
