We trekked to the World's Highest Lord Shiva Temple situated at 12,073 feet (4km + 4km= 8km) The experience is surreal and I'm still having goosebumps. Sometimes God makes you do things that you're dead scared especially when you are diagnosed with Vertigo. The trek itself was fine but it's the twists and turns in between that tests your health, real good. We braved it. Maa and beta. Took us good six hours to traverse 4km and reach the top. There's a temperature change that you need to be prepared for. Carry only essential things in your backpack else it will be difficult to trek. The breathtaking valley stays by your side while you trek so all your tiredness go bye-bye. Best time to visit Tungnath is now! It is undoubtedly one of the best trekking spots in Uttarakhand tourism world so you should experience it once in life atleast.
