Meals that DON’T belong to a date on the calendar are my favourite. Such timeless meals can only be felt at @tbistroddn. Featuring Mistletoe Kisses, a tea that doesn’t rush you. Oolong as the base, softened by hibiscus and rose petals, lifted by pomegranate flowers and pink peppercorn and gently hugging together with cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, lemon balm, and orange grind. It’s floral, warm and earthily festive. The kind of drink that makes you slow down without asking you to. Can you see the smoke coming out from the piping hot tea? Blessed. The Chicken American Chopsuey was comfort in its most honest form. My dad's favourite, not even kidding. No drama, no overthinking, just well-balanced flavours and that familiar warmth that you need in Dehradun winters. It felt like returning to something that always works. Then came the Cottage Cheese Platter for my bestie. Creamy cottage cheese paired with hash browns, sautéed vegetables for freshness, crisp garlic toast for contrast, and a rich, earthy mushroom sauce tying everything together. Simple elements, thoughtfully plated and clicked even better (at this point I ain't bragging issa fact haha). T-Bistro has always stood the test of time and given innumerable memorable experiences. Rooted in a cine-style café culture, it celebrates cinema from a pop angle, delicious food and conversations that hush all the way from your bestie's corner.
