Hyderabad’s hidden gem – Tribal Cafeteria, Masab Tank, where earthy flavors meet soulful traditions! Enjoy their tribal thalis, every bite tells a story of culture & community. We had a non-veg thali priced at Rs 120, with pappu, kakarakaya, pachadi, boti curry and chicken. The boti (lamb intestines and offals) was the showstopper for me, and needed a repeat helping. The tangy semi-gravy kakarakaya was a treat too. The chicken curry was tasty as well. Missed their Banjara Saloy, a meat curry prepared for goat meat, offals and blood. They were not making it during Ganesh festival. Also, Talakaya (goat head) Koora was missed. The place is run by a mother-son duo, who are very enterprising. They put up stalls in various tribal and Banjara fests in the city too.
