Odia food festivals are not very common in #Hyderabad, unlike, lets say Punjabi, Bengali or Goan. Radisson Hyderabad Hitec City brings us the dishes from the state whose cuisine is damn good, but quite under-marketed and underrated. Enthusiastic Chef Gopal from Balasore and some of his fellow chefs have really worked out some authentic food (of course, the evaluation is only based on my limited understanding of the cuisine). Dahi bada Alur Dom, Chakuli Pitha, Pakhala Bhat (with its many accompaniments) were the highlights for me. The main courses like Machha Besara, Mangsho Jholo, Kakra and Panasa Curry as well as Dalma and Kanika were pretty good too. The sweets included Pahala Rosogolla, Puri Khaja, and Chhena Jhilli among others. The fest is part of the buffet at Cascade and is only for dinner till 4th May. @radissonhiteccityhyderabad @ranganath_budumooru #HyderabadEats #hyderabad #hyderabadfoodie #odia #odiafood #odisha #odiacuisine #hyderabadtoday #hyderabadrestaurants #finedininghyderabad #pakhala #bhat #foodaholix #trendingreels #explore #foodblogger #foodie #reach #catchthehydevents #hyderabadevents
