Tata Motors has officially teased the 2026 Punch facelift ahead of its January 13 unveiling. This marks the first major update for the ICE-powered Punch since its 2021 launch. The facelift introduces a refreshed design, new features, and—most notably—a turbo-petrol engine for the first time. Design updates include a redesigned front bumper, vertically stacked LED headlights inspired by the Punch EV, new DRLs, revised Tata logos, updated alloy wheels, and connected LED tail-lights. Higher trims are expected to offer a surround-view camera system, along with new colour options, while the overall silhouette remains unchanged. On the powertrain front, the Punch will continue with the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, alongside the newly introduced turbo-petrol unit paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Transmission options for existing petrol and CNG variants are likely to remain the same. The 2026 Tata Punch is expected to be priced between ₹6 lakh and ₹9.5 lakh (ex-showroom), slightly higher than the current model, and will continue to compete with the Citroen C3, Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Hyundai Exter. #tatamotorsindia #tatapunch
