Vietnamese electric carmaker Vinfast is set to launch its Limo Green electric MPV in India in February 2026, marking its third model in the country after the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. The 7-seater MPV will compete in the growing electric MPV segment alongside models like the Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7. The Limo Green features a 60.13 kWh battery with a claimed range of 450 km, powered by a front-mounted electric motor generating 201 hp and 280 Nm of torque, with fast-charging capability from 10% to 70% in just 30 minutes. With a length of 4,740 mm, width of 1,872 mm, and height of 1,728 mm, it offers a 2+3+2 seating layout and practical interior features including a 10.1-inch touchscreen, single-zone AC, USB charging ports, and a basic safety suite of 4 airbags, ABS, and electronic parking brake. While it does not include ADAS, it is designed to be a reliable and functional MPV for both personal use and fleet operations. In India, the Limo Green is expected to support Vinfast’s upcoming Green and Smart Mobility (GSM) electric taxi fleet, which will operate entirely on Vinfast vehicles. Production is likely to take place at the Tamil Nadu plant, with much of the initial volumes coming from fleet operations.
