Mahindra has revealed that the facelifted XUV700 will be called the XUV 7XO, with its world debut scheduled for January 5, 2026. This model is the second to adopt Mahindra’s new nomenclature for its ICE vehicles, following the XUV 3XO, which was the facelifted XUV300. Early teasers of the XUV 7XO highlight updated exterior features, including 7-shaped daytime running lamps framing trapezoidal LED headlight clusters, redesigned tail-lights, and a refreshed slatted grille, with design elements reminiscent of the XEV 9S. Despite these updates, spy shots indicate that the overall silhouette of the XUV700 remains largely unchanged. On the inside, the XUV 7XO is expected to feature a triple-screen setup similar to the XEV 9e and 9S, with seating options likely including six- and seven-seater variants, though a five-seat version remains uncertain. Powertrain options are anticipated to carry over from the XUV700, with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, both available with 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes, and AWD offered on the diesel. Positioned against rivals like the Tata Sierra, MG Hector, and Hyundai Alcazar, the XUV 7XO is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current XUV700, which ranges from Rs 13.66 lakh to Rs 23.71 lakh. #mahindraxuv7xo #mahindraxuv700
