The freshness of Margo soap, the clink of a spoon stirring Horlicks and the crinkle of a Britannia biscuit packet being opened as the tea starts to simmer in the background, these products became a part of our culture, our identity. The attention to detail is proof of a strong production that has created a legacy that continues even today. These ads belong to the age of television, radio and print, totally detached from the influences of instagram or youtube. The interesting fact about these ads was, they did not come with a skip option! These advertisements refuse to leave us, because nostalgia, no matter what the critics have to say, is a story of our households.
