The suspects, who include an advocate (lawyer), a madrasa teacher, an LLB student, and several labourers, were detained from Nahal village under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Authorities claim the group operated a WhatsApp network where they shared extremist propaganda, including JeM-related content and terrxrist training videos, to promote the banned outfit's ideology and potentially radicalize others. The arrests followed intelligence inputs and monitoring of their online activities. The accused have been identified as Shavez, Junaid, Fardeen, Ikram, Fazru, and Javed.
