Send this to someone who might need these words 🤍 I know better than most how heavy all those stories about achievements at the end of the year and other people’s loud success can feel - especially if you are a mum. You can be sitting on the floor next to your little one who is endlessly dependent on you. You’re tired, maybe hungry, giving yourself 24/7. And then, in a rare quiet moment, you open your feed and suddenly stumble upon someone else’s “big success”… And for no clear reason, it feels heavy. In moments like this, I remind myself that this entire year I’ve been on one of the most important missions of my life. Caring for a little human in the world. Motherhood is the hardest and at the same time the most meaningful project I’ve ever taken on ❣️ But I’m sure not only mothers feel this way. It’s hard not to compare yourself to others whether you’re a mum or not. Progress looks different for everyone, and just because it’s quieter doesn’t mean it matters less. You matter. Your journey matters.
