From: • Driving licences • FIR registration • Land records • Utility connections • Hospital services millions of Indians deal with these systems every year. The dangerous part is not just the bribe itself. It is when corruption slowly starts feeling normal in everyday life. Interestingly, banking services reported the lowest corruption levels in this list, showing how digitisation and tracking systems can reduce human interference. Because when shortcuts become a culture, trust in the entire system slowly breaks down. India has improved in many areas. But the bigger question still remains: Can transparency and digital systems actually reduce everyday corruption at scale?
