🚨 A family allegedly built an audience of more than 1.3 lakh people. According to SEBI, that audience was then used to promote stocks, influence buying activity, and generate alleged gains of over ₹20 crore. 📈 The interesting part is that the scheme did not allegedly rely on complicated financial products. It relied on something much simpler: Attention. A stock gets recommended. Thousands of people see it. Buying increases. Prices move up. And the early buyers benefit. This is exactly why blindly following stock tips from WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, or social media accounts can be dangerous. Because a viral stock recommendation is not the same as research. And a large follower count is not the same as credibility. The stock market rewards research. It punishes blind trust. Sometimes the most expensive investment decision starts with just one message: “Buy this stock before it doubles.” ⚠️
