Imagine losing your job and receiving up to 6 months’ salary as compensation. 💼 The Indian government is reportedly considering a labour reform that could require companies to provide up to 6 months’ salary to employees terminated without misconduct. Currently, eligible employees generally receive around 1 month’s notice pay and compensation of 15 days’ wages for every completed year of service. The proposed reform would significantly increase employee protection. ⚖️ As of March 2026, the proposal has not been implemented and remains under discussion.
