1. You’ll be terrible at first 🥊 (and everyone around you will see it) If you expect yourself to be a natural talent who walks in and looks like @sachka.w doing Kung Fu, you’re more than wrong, but that’s okay. Part of the journey is to evolve your ego and see yourself getting better and better if you train hard. 2. Your body will be in constant pain 🩹 Your body is not used to the movements at all, no matter which kind of sport you did before. Until you get used to it, you will go through different stages of pain. It’s not an injury, but your body will be sore for a long time and return to it again and again. Keep it going 💪🏽 3. Your mind is challenged more than ever ♾️ It’s not easy to train this hard, start with forms every few weeks, repeat the exercises over and over again, and keep going. Your mind will be on the brink of giving up a lot of times. Listen to it to learn, but never obey it. Also, getting used to being watched while failing in the process can be hard. Accept your ego and transform it. 4. Discipline is more important than anything ⏱️ If you don’t train hard and also find extra time to improve your forms on your own, you will never see real progress. Show up and work your a** off :) there is no other way! It’s not important to be very good at first; discipline has always outshined talent. 5. If you commit, you will change in unexpected ways 🙏🏾 There are too many lessons that you can learn while doing kung fu. I can’t even write them all down here, but trust me, it will change the way you are and the way you see yourse . . . #kungfuschool #kungfu #shaolinkungfu #shaolin #materialarts
