This is what a typical Monday looks like for me at my Shaolin Kung Fu school in China. The gym and meditation parts are elements I added myself. We go over the basics pretty often—definitely every Monday—since they’re the foundation for most Shaolin Kung Fu forms. It’s a good way to check in at the start of the week, see what you’re doing well, and what needs a bit more work. We also train forms regularly, of course. No forms - no Shaolin Kung Fu. One thing I really like is that we always make sure to warm up properly and stretch before training.
