Our Complete Morning Routine: 🌅 6:45-7:00 AM: Wake Up + Connection Time : First few minutes together - cuddles, sharing dreams, reading or just quiet bonding ⚡ 7:15 AM: Freshen Up + Change Quick wash, brush teeth, fresh clothes (skip the shower on most days) 🚴 7:15-7:40 AM: Outdoor Time 20 minutes cycling/scootering/ exercising to move those big muscles and wake up the brain 🥛 7:45 AM: Breakfast + NutriMix Options: Cheela, pancakes, uttapam, dosa, methi paratha , mix veg, paneer paratha with sautéed veggies, or brown bread toast with caramelized banana + @our.littlejoys Nutrimix with a glass of milk 🧘 8:00 AM: Mindful Moment Mandala coloring, prayer, affirmations, or just 2 minutes of deep breathing 🚗 8:10 AM: Off to School Why Morning Outdoor Time Beats Showers: ✨ Gets more blood flowing to the brain = better focus at school ✨ Children pay attention longer after moving their bodies ✨ Exercise releases “happy brain chemicals” that help with learning ✨ Better memory ✨ Your child walks into school wide awake and ready! Why We Skip Morning Showers: Honestly? We tried doing both and it was chaos! Something had to give. Since the research shows moving beats washing for brain power, outdoor time won. Simple as that! On days we wake up at 6:30 am , we have time for both :) Our Afternoon Routine 🏠 12:30 PM - Home from school 🚿 1:00 PM - Leisurely shower/bath time 🍽️ 1:30 PM - Lunch 📚 3:30-4:30 PM - Classes🌳 4:30-5:30 PM - More outdoor time or outdoor classes 🍽️ 5:30-6:00 PM - Dinner 😴 After dinner - Bedtime routine begins The Magic of Afternoon Showers: Research shows that warm water triggers the release of oxytocin (the “happy hormone”), reduces cortisol levels, and activates the parasympathetic nervous system - perfect for the downtime children need after school.
