Teaching children the difference between facts and assumptions is so valuable! 🧠 I can’t believe I learnt it at 34, when I did my NLP training , all those assumptions I’ve made before this 🙈 The point is - It’s a fact only if there is proof !! For example, seeing rain outside is a fact; thinking it might rain later is an assumption. Playing the “Fact vs. Assumption” game with children has lasting benefits: 1. Sharpens Critical Thinking: Helps children tell the difference between what they know and what they think, encouraging questions and evidence-seeking. 2. Builds Emotional Intelligence: Shows that assumptions are often based on emotions, helping them manage feelings and understand others better. 3. Strengthens Communication: Encourages children to share thoughts openly, creating trust and reducing misunderstandings. 4. Boosts Confidence and Self-Awareness: Makes them more comfortable questioning their beliefs, helping them feel grounded and confident. 5. Reduces Anxiety: Helps children approach situations more calmly by separating fact from assumption, easing unnecessary worries. In short, this game builds clarity, empathy, and emotional resilience. 💡 . . . . . #FactVsAssumption #ParentingTips #parentingfun #CriticalThinkingForChildren #EmotionalIntelligence
