My boys were raised by a feminist. I wanted to show them a woman who created a space for herself, had a place on the table and broke the societal norms that were regressive. They hung to every word I said until- they were teens. Now they sound like their dad, behave like him and even the simple arguments I used to have with my husband, I can see my boys adapting them in our interactions. So now I don’t raise my boys, I have chats with my husband and somehow they listen to him more now. You may teach everything right, but they watch and learn.
