Every morning, I check two things before anything else: my breath… and my tongue. 👅 Not out of habit — but because Ayurveda taught me that your tongue reflects what’s going on inside. 🧠✨ For years, I thought tongue scraping was just hygiene. But once I learned to read my tongue, it became part of how I check in with my digestion, energy, and overall balance.🧘♂️ Here’s what I notice: ➡️ White or yellow coating at the back? That usually means toxins (Ama) are sitting in the gut — often from late dinners or heavy food. ➡️Cracks down the center? This shows dryness or imbalance — sometimes due to stress, less sleep, or too much going on. ➡️Red tip? That’s internal heat. Could be acidity, overwork, or just emotional build-up. ➡️Pale tongue? Might reflect low energy, weak digestion, or low iron — something a lot of women quietly go through. ➡️Teeth marks on the sides? That usually points to poor absorption or sluggish digestion. This small practice has become a part of how I care for myself every day. It’s simple, grounding, and tells me more than any fancy test can. Have you ever checked your tongue in the morning? Try it — and tell me what you notice.
