It’s time to let the not so one little one go. I have heard that there is a vaccum in the parents life when your kids leave. This clubbed with mother nature’s life twist of perimenopause and flying hormones and emotions, does not leave with me with much wonder. Of course, it’s going to hit but as of now my brain is not processing or as my kids say ‘not braining’! I realise now how my leaving home might have triggered mumma’s depression then, and while my hands are full as of now with the younger one and my own goals, I do see some light on why I have kept myself so occupied.
