Fat loss felt overwhelming to me too… until I understood one basic concept: Fat loss is mostly about creating a calorie deficit consistently over time. Roughly:
1kg of body fat ≈ 7,700 calories. So technically, to lose around 1kg, you need a total calorie deficit of 7,700 calories over time. Here’s what that can realistically look like 👇 1️⃣ Cardio
Burning 200 calories daily
= 1,400 calories/week 2️⃣ Steps
10,000 steps can burn roughly 300–400 calories depending on the person.
Let’s average it at 350:
350 × 7 days = 2,450 calories/week 3️⃣ Weight training
4 sessions/week
= 250 calories/session
= 1,000 calories That’s already roughly:
4,850 calories burned through movement alone. That means you only need 2,850 calories left to reach 7,700. Important: This does NOT mean starving yourself. 2,850 ÷ 7 days = about 400 calories per day from food. Sometimes it’s simply:
• slightly smaller portions
• skipping liquid calories
• increasing protein intake
• choosing more filling foods
• reducing mindless snacking And when you stay consistent with these habits over time… that’s when results actually start happening.. Not detox teas.
