Ginger Scallion Chicken Rice Bowl (Detailed Recipe) Ingredients: For the chicken: * 200–250g chicken breast * Salt * Pepper * Water for steaming For the ginger scallion mix: * 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic * 2–3 tbsp chopped spring onions/scallions * 1 tsp grated ginger * 1–2 tbsp chicken stock (from the steamed chicken water) * 1 tsp soy sauce (optional) * Salt to taste * Pepper/chilli flakes (optional) For the bowl: * 1 serving high-protein rice * 2 eggs (omelette style) * Spring onion greens for garnish Method: Step 1: Steam the chicken Steam the chicken breast with a little salt and pepper until fully cooked. Don’t throw the water away — that becomes your flavour-packed stock. Then shred or slice the chicken. Step 2: Make the ginger scallion mix In a bowl, add: * chopped garlic * spring onions * grated ginger Pour in a little hot chicken stock from the steamed chicken. Add a tiny splash of soy sauce if you want extra flavour. Mix everything together. Step 3: Prepare the bowl Add your high-protein rice to a bowl. Top it with: * shredded chicken * the ginger scallion mix * a 2-egg omelette sliced on top Finish with extra spring onions.
