These pictures are from a year ago when I first learnt how to cycle. I was so proud of myself. I used to go out almost every day, just to cycle for a bit, breathe fresh air, and feel like the world was a little bigger than my room. Somehow, I stopped. Life happened. I got busy. Or maybe, I just got too comfortable being stuck inside. Lately, I’ve been working out regularly but it’s always indoors, in my home clothes, in the same space. No pressure to dress up, no need to leave the house. It’s easier that way. But something’s been missing. And when I looked at these pictures again, I realised I actually miss stepping out. I miss wearing a hoodie I like. I miss the sky. I miss feeling like I’m doing something just for me. I’ve also been wanting to learn how to ride a Scooty, but haven’t taken that step either… Because somewhere deep down, I think I just need to do something. Anything. Something that reminds me my life doesn’t have to stay stuck inside four walls. So maybe this is me putting it out there I want to cycle again. I want to go outside more. I want to do small things that make me feel alive, even if it means putting on proper clothes and leaving my comfort zone.
