I usually plan my Europe trips for mid-May, but this time we intentionally moved the dates forward for just one reason—Keukenhof - the biggest spring garden of the world located just outside Amsterdam. 🌷 We reached on the very last day it was open. We missed the endless tulip fields in peak bloom, but the moment I stepped inside, I knew the effort had been worth it. The colours, the fragrance, the scenery, the sheer scale of it all… it felt like walking through a painting… in a fairytale (look at the 7th slide)! What made it even more special was experiencing it with Varun and the kids. One of my biggest joys as a parent is showing my children that the beautiful places they see in books, movies, and on screens actually exist in real life. This help them dream bigger, stay curious, and realize just how vast and beautiful the world is. Keukenhof is open for only 8 weeks every year, and somehow we made it there. I don’t know what it is about flowers, but they instantly make me happy. Maybe because they remind us to pause, look around, and appreciate beauty while it’s here. Some places stay with you.
