Got our Schengen visa for 2 YEARS 🤯✨ In times of war when we’re constantly hearing about visa rejections, this honestly feels like GOLD. And the best part? We did everything ourselves — documentation, cover letter (I really think it made a difference), planning… no agents involved whatsoever 🙌 This was our 3rd Schengen application in 3 years… and here’s how it went👇 2024 → Switzerland🇨🇭 (1 month visa) 2025 → Italy 🇮🇹 (3 months visa) 2026 → 2 YEARS 🥹 If there’s one thing I’ve learnt — it’s a game of patience. Your travel history builds, and it counts. Did I secretly hope for 3 years or even 5 years? YES 😅 But also very grateful for what we got! What really worked for us this time? A good travel history and being clean and honest with every single detail. Think of your application like a narrative — your finances, travel plan, and ties to India should all align and feel reassuring to the visa officer. We focused on keeping everything simple, transparent and well-organised… and I truly feel that made a difference.
