I think as moms, we overthink a little too much. We keep waiting… “thoda aur big ho jaaye”, “next year better hoga”, “abhi chhoti hai”. I do this all the time. But this trip made me realise something — sometimes we underestimate our kids without even realising it. Kids don’t really wait for the “perfect time”. They just go for it. They fall, they figure it out, and they surprise you in ways you didn’t expect. And honestly… half the time it’s not them who aren’t ready. It’s us. So maybe next time, instead of waiting… we just say yes. Because these are the moments they’ll remember. And so will we. And maybe… they’re not just growing up on these trips. They’re growing braver.
