Started back in 1927 by Bachan Singh, a taxi driver who just wanted to feed people good food, this spot has ended up feeding generations from the city. ✨ What started as a small stall serving roti and tadka to becoming a full-blown legacy, it totally reflects the journey shows in every bite. Honestly, this was definitely a hidden gem for me in the truest sense of the term and I wonder why didn’t I visit before! 🙈 The Dal Tadka was everything I hoped it would be: Rustic, yet soulful. I would happily go back just for that. 😍 The Chicken Bharta was decent, rich and creamy, but I’ve had better elsewhere.🙂 What truly caught me off guard was the Tutti Frutti. Total 90s kid energy. Sweet, syrupy, and a straight ticket to childhood.♥️ Bachan’s is not trying to be fancy, it just does what it does best: Feed you good, honest food with a side of nostalgia.
