Here’s the best way to explore Udaipur! ❤️ 👉🏻 Stay at a palatial hotel in the City of Lakes. My stay at Sayaji Resorts & Spa, a newly launched modern palace in Mewar’s hospitality scene, was nothing short of spectacular. 👉🏻 Wander through Udaipur’s historic old city, where artistry thrives in every corner. I explored the historic streets of Udaipur and met some of its most celebrated artists—Arun Sharma, a master of Pichwai; Rajesh Vaishnav, an expert in Jal Sanjhi; Sanju Soni, a virtuoso of Miniature Art; Anant Maheshwari, known for his intricate Glass Inlay; and Tej and Chirag, the visionaries behind Luxury Handicrafts, specializing in Bone Inlay. 👉🏻 Savor the essence of Rajasthan with an authentic culinary experience. At Sayaji, I relished royal Rajasthani thalis crafted by Executive Chef Rajendra Singh and also explored the exquisite Indo-Western fusion—an artful blend of Indian and global flavours, all rooted in locally sourced ingredients. 👉🏻 From a rejuvenating Nilaya spa experience and horse riding to feeding rabbits to getting to watch folk dance performances in the evening and enjoying a tranquil picnic by Alsigarh Lake, every moment of my stay at Sayaji was filled with unforgettable delights. In this city of art and heritage, I believe I experienced the best of everything during my three-day stay. Having previously visited the magnificent City Palace and Sajjangarh Fort, I highly recommend them as well to anyone visiting Udaipur anytime soon.
