Time slowed, and with it, a sense of peace washed over me, connecting me deeply with the natural world at ‘Woods at Sasan’ in Gir recently. This sixteen-acre mango orchard, drenched in the rhythmic patter of rain, becomes a biophilic paradise during monsoons; into a living, breathing entity, where every tree and plant is alive with the season’s energy. 👉🏻 The mango trees, with their glistening leaves and rain-kissed branches, hummed with life, creating a serene canopy above. Standing beneath them, listening to the gentle sway and the occasional thud of falling fruit, I felt a profound sense of well-being. The connection with nature, in its raw and unfiltered form, was a reminder of the importance of slowing down, of allowing ourselves the space to simply be, and of the deep wellness that comes from attuning ourselves to the rhythms of the earth. 👉🏻 Dr. Suchitra Sidhartha, the Ayurvedic doctor during my stay, conducted a lifestyle consultation to identify my doshas and helped me design a menu tailored to my specific needs. She also recommended a range of therapies, from which I selected a 30-minute Sonorium sound healing session and Lama Fera therapy with Balachandra, as well as a Shiroabhyangam (Ayurvedic massage) at Som Wellness. Together, they helped me bring all the chakras in my body into balance.
