🧸 Banana Ragi Oats Pancakes for Toddlers (12+ months) Ingredients: • 1 ripe banana (peeled and chopped) • 4 tbsp ragi (finger millet) flour • 4 tbsp oats (soaked in water or milk for 10–15 mins, then drained) • A pinch of cinnamon powder • 1–2 tsp honey (only if your toddler is over 1 year) • 2–4 tbsp milk or water (adjust as needed for batter consistency) • 1 tsp ghee or butter (for cooking) ⸻ Instructions: 1. Blend the banana, soaked oats, ragi flour, cinnamon powder, honey, and 2 tbsp of milk or water in a mixer jar. 2. Check the consistency of the batter — it should be smooth and pourable, like pancake or dosa batter. Add more water or milk (1 tbsp at a time) if it’s too thick. 3. Heat a nonstick pan or iron tawa on low flame. Lightly grease with ghee or butter. 4. Pour a small ladleful of batter onto the pan and gently spread it into a small pancake. 5. Cook on low heat for 2–3 minutes on one side, then flip carefully and cook until both sides are golden brown and cooked through. 6. Serve warm as is or with sliced fruits, nut butter, or a little ghee on top. ⸻ ✅ Toddler Tips: • Skip honey if your baby is under 1 year — you can use mashed dates or skip sweetener altogether. • Add variety by mixing in grated apple, carrot, or a pinch of nut powder (if introduced). • Make small-sized pancakes for easy toddler self-feeding. • Always cool slightly and test texture before serving.
