
These Jowar Mini Idlis are perfect for kids lunch box Detailed recipe for Jowar Mini/regular Idli - Ingredients - 1. Jowar Flour - 1/2 cup 2. Sooji - 1/2 cup 3. Curd - 1/4 cup 4. Salt - 1/2 tsp (as per taste) 5. Fruit salt or baking soda - 1/2 tsp 6. Oil for brushing & tempering 7. Rai - 1/4 tsp 8. Curry leaves - 4-5 Method - 1. In a bowl take Jowar flour & sooji. Add curd & mix properly. 2. Now cover it & let it rest for 10 mins. 3. Once the batter is soaked add salt, baking powder/fruit salt & a little bit of water. 4. Mix nicely, you will see the batter starts getting light & frothy. 5. Now grease idli mould. with this batter you can make both the idlis - regular or mini 6. Pour the batter into the mould & steam cook for 12-15 min on high flame. 7. When they are done. De-mould them. You can enjoy these jowar idli as it is. 8. For the tempering - put oil in pan & add rai & curry leaves. 9. Add the idlis & toss them in tempering for a minute. 10.
