Land of Happy – Dance Therapy Session The WICCI Holistic Child Development Council, in partnership with Marham, hosted “Land of Happy” – a unique Dance Therapy Session at the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID), Secunderabad today. The session was conducted by the internationally acclaimed Bharatanatyam exponent and cultural ambassador Sohini Roychowdhury, who engaged NIEPID students in an hour of movement-based therapy that celebrated inclusion, healing, and the joy of expression through dance. NIEPID, India’s premier institute under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, provided the perfect backdrop for this landmark initiative. Our National President @anupamadalmiaofficial emphasized that the program was a step towards building bridges through art and movement, making inclusion a lived reality. @payalj2301 , Health & Nutrition Lead of the Council, also graced the event, underscoring the holistic approach of this initiative. @nabatlakhani, Founder of @marham_resonating_resilience , highlighted that such initiatives reflect the therapeutic power of dance while creating empowering spaces for children with intellectual disabilities.
