20 kids • 2 batches • 8 sessions We just wrapped up the BTB Public Speaking Program, and what a journey it has been! I created this program because I noticed a gap based on the feedback from parents and kids over the years. Most public speaking courses available for kids seemed modeled on corporate/professional training. But children learn best when it’s creative, playful, and age-appropriate, not when they are pushed into frameworks designed for adults. So, across 8 sessions, we explored: Speeches & storytelling Debates & extempore Shorts/reels & ad pitches And lots more... All while focusing on confidence, clarity, voice modulation, hooks, structure, and body language. The growth I witnessed was heartening as week by week, the kids became more expressive, thoughtful, and assured in how they shared their ideas. In our final presentation, every child confidently chose a format (including extempore, the trickiest of all!) and spoke with originality and enthusiasm. The journey doesn’t end here, of course. The children will be sending me polished recordings of their chosen pieces, which will be featured on the Beyond The Box YouTube channel. My goal was to make this a creative space for kids to find their voice, and I couldn’t be prouder of how beautifully they did that.
