Why don’t lions attack safari vehicles? I was in an open jeep in Masai Mara and Serengeti, surrounded by wild lions! These animals in their natural habitat. They are not tamed or sedated. And yet, it is completely safe 💯 Here’s why: Lions (and other animals) see the vehicle as one big object. As long as you stay seated and don’t make sudden movements, they don’t see you as a separate person. They’re used to the shape and sound of safari jeeps, and they don’t see them as a threat or as prey.
