Would you go on the Road of bones? I took an 18-hour, non-stop drive from Yakutsk to Oymyakon, the coldest inhabited place on Earth, through the road of ❄️ @monkey.inc and I spent three days in insane temperatures before making the brutal 18-hour journey back. This was hands down one of the wildest experiences of my life! The Road of Bones isn’t just a name—it’s one of the most chilling roads in history. Built by Soviet prisoners in the 1930s, over 1,000,000 people died from exhaustion, starvation, and brutal conditions. The permafrost was too hard to dig graves, so their bodies were buried into the road itself. Every mile is literally paved with death. At one point, the temperature dropped to -64°C. The cold was so extreme that metal snapped, car engines froze, and breathing felt sharp in the lungs.
